Cory Bauer Memorial Amateur Film Contest
Welcome to the 6th Annual Cory Bauer Memorial Amateur Film Contest
OUR MISSION AND CORY
Cory had a passion for snowboarding. As kids growing up in the valley, we would take every chance we could to get to ride. As we got better, Cory started to be the videographer with an old school little digital camera, he would capture us shredding! With those clips he would make highlight edits for all of us to enjoy.
After losing Cory in 2019, we wanted to keep that same spirit alive and started CBMAFC. This video contest was created to help our local shredders express their creativity and passion for riding while having a platform to compete and showcase their edits to their friends, family and peers. With cash awards to date, totaling $9,000, we are proud to have a hand in giving back to our youth in the community.
We are thankful for our competitors over the years and in the future who help us remember Cory and keep his memory alive. Win or lose, the videos created and the memories in them are the true victory. Try your best and be proud of your edits. To all the kids out there, stay in school, don’t do drugs, and stack those powder clips for your edits.
Best,
Dale Bauer
